Lenovo IdeaCentre AIO 27″ FHD IPS LCD Touch-Screen All-In-One Review

-

The Lenovo IdeaCentre AIO 27″ is an incredible value and a great home or office PC. I have spent the last week using this at home, and it has handled every task with ease. I needed a family PC because my kids are at the age where they are starting to do more online learning, and it made sense to get this AIO for them to do homework and continue learning programs over the summer. I’ll go through some pros and cons I found, as well as who I think this system is perfect for.

Specifications and Features

Model: Lenovo IdeaCentre AIO 27″Display: 27″ FHD (1920 x 1080) IPS LCD Touch-ScreenProcessor: AMD Ryzen 5 7535HSMemory: 8GB RAMStorage: 512GB SSDGraphics: Integrated AMD RadeonOperating System: Windows 11Ports: 2 HDMI, 3 USB-A, 1 Ethernet, 1 USB-C, headphone jackOther Features: Built-in Qi wireless charger, dual speakers.

Pros

Big, Accurate Touch Screen: The 27″ touch screen is large and responsive, making it great for kids’ learning and homework. The screen is thinner than expected, contrasting with older, chunkier AIO systems, and the small bezels help it blend into its surroundings.
Ample Connectivity: The back and sides of the center stand, which houses the PC, have plenty of IO options:
Strong Performance: Thanks to the snappy AMD Ryzen 5 Processor and 512GB SSD, it handles everything from video streaming to standard productivity software with ease. However, more than 8GB of RAM would be beneficial, especially if running multiple browser tabs.
Great Sound and Wireless Charging: The speakers sound great, and the built-in Qi wireless charger in the base is a nice touch for such a minimalist AIO PC.

Cons

Limited RAM

As mentioned, 16GB of RAM would improve the experience, especially for heavy multitaskers.

Average Display Quality

The IPS panel’s viewing angles aren’t the best, and 1080P resolution feels too low for a 27″ display, especially for text-heavy tasks.

Minimal Display Adjustability

The display’s range of motion is minimal, with limited tilt angles. This might not be an issue for everyone but is worth considering.

Who is this PC for?

The Lenovo IdeaCentre is a great option for anyone who needs a turn-key home computer for everyday tasks. Its slim design makes it suitable for any home office setup without worrying about a bulky tower or being limited to a laptop. It also serves well as a general office PC. However, future hardware upgrades may not be possible, which is a consideration for potential buyers.

Final Thoughts

This system fits my needs perfectly and delivers on everything promised. The IdeaCentre AIO 27 is a powerful, turn-key all-in-one PC at a great price point, ideal for both home and office use.
